Rustic Bury Manor Barn Wedding Photography • Tally and Matt
Tally and Matt’s wedding at Bury Manor Barn was an absolute joy to photograph!
The day started off at a local Church in Arundel, where T+M had their Ceremony and confetti, then it was a short drive in the wedding car - a VW Convertible Beetle called Louise (how cute!) to Bury Manor Barn. The weather was perfect, so it was into the gardens where T+M had an impromptu receiving line, which was the perfect opportunity to capture some great guest candids whilst everyone enjoyed their drinks and canapés. I always make sure my couples have the opportunity to say hello to their guests before we get any photos done, it gives you a chance to relax and chill for a little bit, and most importantly take it all in and enjoy your day!
We then went for a short walk around Bury Manor Barn’s amazing picturesque grounds for some couple portraits. One thing I hear ALL THE TIME from my couples is that they hate having their photo taken and aren’t great in front of the camera. Which is exactly what Tally and Matt said, but once they got there, they were full of laughs and giggles and cracked jokes the whole time. Which is always my advice, just be your lovely selves, its your wedding day and I’ll do the rest, I’ll put you at ease in front of the camera and you’ll never notice me there!
Side note: we were even joined by A DOG during portraits - more dogs at weddings please!
Once we were done it was back to the barn for food and speeches, which was decorated beautifully by Merlin Displays and Nordic Twigs flowers (along with Tally’s stunning bouquet) afterwards there was a bit of down time and more mingling whilst the evening guests arrived and then it was on to the dancing!
All in all it was a really great day, Bury Manor Barn provides a beautiful rural location with stunning views of the South Downs, the perfect venue for your rustic style wedding!
